Advising Goals
- Provide students with an understanding of the curriculum, graduation requirements, and university and college policies and procedures
- Provide students with information about strategies for utilizing the available resources and services on campus
- Assist students in developing an education plan that leads to the timely completion of their educational goals
freshman engineering advising
All Freshman engineering students are advised by the Office of Student Development and Success (OSDS) in the College of Engineering until the Common First Year Curriculum is completed. Freshman students should not contact their Department directly for advising. They must contact their OSDS advisor.

- If you are an incoming Freshman engineering student, you can email osds-advising@charlotte.edu with general questions.
ECE Advising Team
The advising functions in Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) are delegated to the following teams.
Primary Advisors:

- Advisor name will be listed under “Your Success Team” under your student photo
